Nanowrimo: Day Two Quitting Before I Begin?

Hello There!
Astray leading title, huh?

No, I'm not quitting nano (it's still early though lol), But I am quitting my plot. I've decide to go with the contemporary anorexia story. It's what I'm feeling at the moment. Plus it takes less research than 16th century Aberdonian witch hunts.
The other novel is being temporarily shelved and I'll come back to it. I've developed the beginnings of a complex plot that could span a few books, I'm not about to waste all that sheer luck.
"Aye, and luck is a cloaked trick of the Devil"

Shut up Mrs Forrester!
Does this baffle you? It should. How sad of me to have in-jokes with my writing projects :).

I must stop procrastinating and get back to work. I want get at least 500words of this new novel done before bed. Elspeth  has school in the morning and I have work (there I go again).

Nanowrimo: Day One Continued

Evening All!
I have just been to my first write-in. Safe to say it was very intimidating. The two people I was sitting across from were already reaching the 10K mark and it's only day one.
I, however, have just broke my first thousand and am thrilled. But I still don't know if I like the story I'm writing.
I know it's not too late to change my mind, but it'd have to be a story that would just flow out of my fingers before I can justify the change.

Anyways, I'm going to type up what I wrote before I go to bed.

Nanowrimo: Day One

Hello my Lovelies!

As you can maybe guess by the title, I have decided to take part in Nanowrimo this year. Nanowrimo stands for National Novel Writing Month. It happens every November. Thousands of crazy people set themselves the insane goal of writing 50,000 words in 30 days.

Although this is day one, I have yet to decide on which novel to write. I have four ideas.
1- A contemporary fiction about anorexia.
2 - A dystopian (what if Scotland really got independence?!)
3 - A paranormal about a ghost destroying a young girls existence.
4 - A dark romance about two souls cursed to walk through time alone.

I kinda have my hopes set on the fourth option, I've been toying with the idea for at least 5 years. I think it's time I got it out of my system.
I'm going to a write-in tonight at the Belmont Cinema. Hopefully I'll will have settled by then :).

Are any of you taking part in nanowrimo?
